FILM

Moving to the UK at 15 shaped my interest in the subtle tensions between cultures, languages, and social structures, which continue to inform my cinematic vision. My work can be described as fiction rooted in reality, reimagining lived experiences to offer alternative perspectives on familiar issues.

My short films have screened internationally: Dog Days received awards including Best Young Actress and Best Editing Nomination at the Ufa Youth Short Film Festival, among other honors. Arena was officially selected at the International Film Festival Women and the World and 225 Film Club (screened at BFI Southbank), and nominated for Best Student Film at the BIFA-qualifying TweetFest.

Currently pursuing a Master of Research in Moving Image at Central Saint Martins, I explore film as an artistic, cultural, and political medium, continually interrogating identity, representation, and the unseen structures that shape how we are seen and how we see ourselves.
